Durga Puja at Salimpur
Bird nest was the theme of the puja pandal. Surroundings of the pandal decorated with wooden crafts and the pandal was a huge bird nest made by the wood pices.
Durga puja at Belgachia "save the green"
Belgachia Durga puja pandal theme was “save the green”. It was one of the best pandal themes. It was built with natural plants and shrubs specially planted to create the pandal and surroundings. The plantation started about seven months before the Puja celebration in October. The idol of devi durga was like the plants coming out from the ground.
